Introducing Bedaso! Manager of Tulu Gudo Tourism Cooperative
Bedaso Gebro Morki is the Manager of the Tulu Gudo Tourism Cooperative. Tulu Gudo is one of five islands on Lake Ziway, an emerging destination in Ethiopia. The lake itself boasts aquatic birds, hippos and beautiful scenic landscapes. Visitors to Ziway can enjoy a boat ride to the island where they will be provided with a guide hike around the island. The hike includes stops at the site of a monastery that once housed the Ark of the Covenant for over 70 years, a new monastery where visitors can view 1,1oo year old relics and finally a community restaurant for grilled fish and a cold drink.
